The Birth of Venus

"The Birth of Venus" represents one of the greatest works of Sandro Botticelli. It was made by the Italian master in 1484 using the technique "tempera on canvas", measuring 278.5 x 172.5 cm. and is now in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.

Frame for stretched canvas: we use spliced pine frame, with the edges decorated as a continuation of the painting itself. Edge thickness (depth) to choose 2, 3.5 or 4 cm.

Framing

In our artisan workshop we make sure that the frames are of the highest quality. All our mouldings are made of natural wood with different finishes.

Finishes:

• Film on paper: glass 2 mm. Táblex backside nailed and sealed with gummed paper.
• Canvas: Canvas glued on rigid. Nailed and sealed with gummed paper.
