Magnificent reproduction of Christ embraced the crossby Domenikos Theotokopoulos El Greco painted around 1600-1605. It can currently be found in the Prado Museum in Madrid.

This work reproduces a scene from the Passion of Christ, as he carries the cross on the ascent to Calvary. The figure of Christ is very similar to the one depicted in the Expolio, painted by the artist for Toledo Cathedral in 1578. His face does not show pain or suffering, but serenity in his gaze raised to heaven. The perspective (seen from below) together with the background of stormy clouds concentrates the attention on the figure of Christ and gives the image a special power.

In our artisan workshop we make sure that the frames are of the highest quality. All our mouldings are made of natural wood with different finishes.
